This 2x8 m wood tarpaulin is made of PVC, a material that is more resistant than any other material to bad weather, shocks and UV rays, which is essential when we are talking about a wooden tarpaulin. In addition, it is also the material that best guarantees the waterproofness of the tarpaulin. This wooden tarpaulin is also 100% waterproof , which will allow it to keep your wooden logs dry all year round, regardless of the weather conditions (sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.).


Its 5% Anti-UV treatment allows it to benefit from very significant protection against UV rays. OUR FIXING AND USE ADVICE:


This TECPLAST 506BO 8x2 m wooden tarpaulin is designed to last at least 5 years, but its lifespan is based on impeccable quality of its installation. To prevent tearing of the eyelets or tearing of the canvas, here are our recommendations:


  • The tarpaulin must be well stretched and tilted to avoid wind resistance and water pockets.
  • We recommend the use of professional quality 9 mm diameter bungee cord.
  • To determine the length of bungee cord needed to secure your tarpaulin, simply calculate the periphery of your tarpaulin, and add 20%.
  • For large dimensions (beyond 40 square meters), it is recommended to nail battens to the tarpaulin, or to pass steel cables above and below to reinforce its support.
